(too old to reply)

Is there any way now to see posts from the last few months? Somebody
replied to my post earlier this year about my Fraser family and I wanted
to double check something.
I'm using Thunderbird as my newsgroup reader, and I've tried Google
groups (nothing showing).
Not important, just slightly annoying.

Thanks

https://soc.genealogy.britain.narkive.com has a full archive (24179 Threads
216749 Posts) but it can take a few hours (?) for the latest items to
appear.

Posts where the thread name as changed, e.g. Re: HES and SCRAN (was: Re:
Manx Archive - BBC Booster Opening) appear under the original title e.g.
Manx Archive - BBC Booster Opening

Thank-you. That's worth saving (is it something that could be in the
FAQ? I did check there too)

It's not a full archive, as it only goes back to around 2003. But it
still extremely useful.

Is there a fuller archive anywhere else?

The internet archive https://archive.org/download/usenet-soc has a 155Mb
zipped MBOX file archive from 23 Oct 2000-17 Jun 2013 (623 Mb/15.4M
lines unzipped)
https://archive.org/download/usenet-soc/soc.genealogy.britain.mbox.zip

Notepad++ can open it. It is readable with a mbox-viewer.exe (but I
stopped before it had loaded the whole file).

Perhaps someone could host it?
