I have a vague feeling that I read somewhere that if the photocopy of
a GRO entry was difficult to read, one could ask for a transcribed
copy - the actual entry might be easier to read forr the GRO employee
than the photocopy for the person who requested a copy.

I have seen one where a parent's occupation also included the actual
place of work - but I could not read the address.
